They are never on the same page and because of their lack of communication and not being upfront with me I lost almost $200. Got into the EDGE program and was constantly bullied but got in trouble for standing up for myself…cannot believe what they have done and I am still trying to get ahold of the CEO with nothing to show for it….they promised me so much and unfortunately I fell for it.

Poor communication …promised a meeting to discuss next steps for services and received nothing including being STONEWALLED by their UNPROFESSIONAL, phony and INCOMPETENT “Employment Specialist” who proceeded to completely IGNORE my email messages and did NOT return my phone calls… Very disappointing and UNPLEASANT experience as this particular staff at first appeared very charming and grandiose, and could’ve easily contacted me as I in turn expect reciprocated honesty. Yet another USELESS government-funded entity. NO help whatsoever.

Super friendly knowledgeable staff. They have always helped me with my resumes, anything I needed copied and have helped me look for work in the past. I have never had a bad experience going here. I was even having a bad day years ago and the one staff member let me hang out in her office for a bit to relax and talked me. If you are looking for support to find employment these people will have your back. I may go back and do a placement job through them one day. Will see. But the options are deffinetly there for the taking.

They helped me get a job fast, and at no cost to me. After applying to every job I was qualified for for seven months, they got me a job in two months, and I’m much more qualified for this position than any I had applied to on my own. I would definitely recommend them for help on your resume or for full assistance on your job search.

This place is great for getting help on a resume, and that’s about it. Everytime I’ve gone here I’ve gotten enough help to get me a job that can’t support me. I moved to Sudbury, and was hoping to find a decent enough job that I could at least pay my rent, bills, and buy food. With this place, they don’t care what the job is like for you, as long as they push you out the door as fast as possible.

I had been looking for a job for over 6 months, and when I found a seasonal position, they immediately dropped me from the program. I’ve never found a good job through the Y, and I don’t think I ever will. I’ve been let down so many times through them. You can literally tell them that your job is making you unhappy, that you can’t live off of it, and they’ll basically tell you that you have no choice.

I worked with the YMCA employees multiple times through the years. They’re friendly on the outside, but that’s about it.

    Good day

    To apply for employment.

We are an organized group of one hundred people between women and men ages 21 to 49, we are in Mexico and we want to work with you.

If you hire us and prepare all documents for us to enter legally as temporary contract workers, we could work from Monday to Saturday for $ 400 dollars and you are responsible for our food and lodging, we do not ask much, we only work with dignity.

We wait your answer. Thank you

Temporary work or temporary employment (also called gigs) refers to an employment situation where the working arrangement is limited to a certain period of time based on the needs of the employing organization. Temporary employees are sometimes called "contractual", "seasonal", "interim", "casual staff", "outsourcing", "freelance"; or the words may be shortened to "temps". In some instances, temporary, highly skilled professionals (particularly in the white-collar worker fields, such as human resources, research and development, engineering, and accounting) refer to themselves as consultants. Increasingly, executive-level positions (e.g. CEO, CIO, CFO, CMO, CSO) are also filled with interim executives or fractional executives.Temporary work is different from secondment, which is the assignment of a member of one organization to another organization for a temporary period, and where the employee typically retains their salary and other employment rights from their primary organization but they work closely within the other organization to provide training and the sharing of experience.
Temporary workers may work full-time or part-time depending on the individual situation. In some instances, temporary workers receive benefits (such as health insurance), but usually benefits are only given to permanent employees as a cost-cutting measure by the employer to save money. Not all temporary employees find jobs through a temporary employment agency. With the rise of the Internet and gig economy (a labor market characterized by the prevalence of short-term contracts or freelance work as opposed to permanent jobs), many workers are now finding short-term jobs through freelance marketplaces: a situation that brings into being a global market for work.A temporary work agency, temp agency or temporary staffing firm finds and retains workers. Other companies, in need of short-term workers, contract with the temporary work agency to send temporary workers, or temps, on assignments to work at the other companies. Temporary employees are also used in work that has a cyclical nature, requiring frequent adjustments to staffing levels.
